    With every new production run, we apply new and innovative techniques, including rotations and multiple beam passes. We sometimes irradiate as many as six different planes to create complex 3D shapes, or physically rotate specimens as they're being irradiated with the high energy electron beam. We continue to push boundaries while building upon our hard won experience from previous runs. The figures on this page are no exception - they reflect the current state of the art in making Captured Lightning® sculptures. We recommend illuminating these with the CR35MC multicolor light base, the ROT45MC rotating multicolor light base, the BD754W low profile white, or the LM2700 or  LM2690 rosewood white LED light base. 4" x 4" x 2" "Lightning Jewels" with 3D multi-layer discharges. The internal figures are reflected and refracted by the facets in these very unique jewels. Very limited quantities. Please specify whether Heavy Weather, African Tree, Windblown Lightning discharge is preferred. Click on image for more details. We recommend using a BD751MC or BD750MC multicolor light base, or a DK25x75W  (white LED's) or DK25x75B ("electric blue" LED's) walnut light base, or the LM2688 rosewood light base with white LED's. Two inch "Ball Lightning" spheres. Crystal clear, these beautiful polished spheres contain multiple curving 3D discharges. Some discharges may go partially through the center. When supported by a napkin ring (provided) light can be directed from below by one of our many multicolor or white LED light bases.  For multicolor/color changing, we recommend using the CR35MC leaded crystal light base, the ROT45MC rotating multicolor light base, or BD753MC multicolor base. For white light, we recommend the LM2690,  LM2692, or LM2699 rosewood white LED light bases, or the BD753W base. AC adapter for CR35MC,  and ROT45MC, BD753MC and BD753W are available only for US power. Three inch "Ball Lightning" spheres. Similar to our Style 29 two inch Ball Lightning spheres, but oh, what a difference an inch makes! Created from carefully polished acrylic orbs. When supported on a napkin ring (provided) light can be directed from below by one of our many multicolor or white LED light bases. For multicolor/color changing effects, we recommend using the CR35MC leaded crystal light base, ROT45MC rotating light base, or BD753MC base. 2.5" diameter Magnabrite® light capturing magnifiers. These precision optical elements are simply incredible - two discharge layers with bridging discharges linking them! Tree-like branching discharges grow from the lower radiating discharge. Be sure to click on the above image to see larger pictures. We recommend illuminating these with the BD753MC color changing base,  the  ROT45MC rotating multicolor light base, or the LM2690 or  LM2692 rosewood white LED light base. AC adapters for BD753MC  and ROT45MC are available only for US power. We also suggest ordering a round walnut base to cradle and prevent scratching the bottom of your sculpture.
